Lemon Sponge Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
    2 lemons (juice and grated peel; 1/4 c.)
    1/4 c. flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, separated
    1 c. milk
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Combine sugar, flour, melted butter, salt and egg yolks.
    Beat until smooth.
    Beat in lemon juice and peel.
    Add milk, beating slowly.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Fold in.
    Bake pie shell in a 350\u00b0 oven for 5 minutes.
    Pour in filling.
    Bake 40 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until filling is firm.
    Serves 8.
