Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast (4 oz. each)
    1/4 c. warm water
    2 c. buttermilk, warmed to 110~
    5 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    2 c. shortening, butter or margarine
Preparation
    Add warm water and warmed buttermilk to yeast.
    Blend flour, baking powder, soda, sugar and salt.
    Add shortening, butter or margarine; add to flour mixture.
    Cut into coarse meal, use pastry blender (or 2 knives).
    Stir in buttermilk and yeast.
    Turn onto floured board and knead lightly.
    Roll to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut into circles with floured glass or biscuit cutter.
    Place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Let rise 1 1/2 hours.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Brush with melted butter.
