Butter Baked Carrot Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. carrots
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. snipped fresh dill
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Butter a shallow baking dish.
    Scrape or peel carrots and cut into sticks about 2 inches long.
    Put in baking dish.
    Sprinkle with sugar, salt, pepper and dill.
    Dot with butter or margarine.
    Cover (use foil if pan has no cover).
    Bake about 30 minutes or until carrots are tender.
