Egg Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. meal
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 egg
    2 c. buttermilk
    3 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients, then add milk and egg.
    Melt shortening and pour in last.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
