Macaroni Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. macaroni (2 c.)
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 small onion, diced
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 c. diced celery
    1 c. grated carrots
    2 Tbsp. diced pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Cook macaroni as directed; drain.
    Rinse with cold water; drain and repeat, rinsing and draining.
    Mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt and sugar.
    Combine with macaroni, celery, onion, carrots and pepper.
