Jewish Hospital'S Chunky Chicken Noodle Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. uncooked egg noodles
    2 qt. chicken stock
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1/3 c. carrot coins
    1/3 c. diced celery
    1 lb. cooked chicken, diced
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3/4 c. water
    1 tsp. white pepper
    1 tsp. sage
    1/2 tsp. yellow food coloring (optional)
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Cook noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.
