Heavenly Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    2/3 c. precooked rice
    2/3 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. tiny marshmallows
    1 ripe banana, diced
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1 c. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Drain pineapple; reserve syrup.
    Combine rice, water, pineapple syrup and salt.
    Mix just to moisten rice.
    Bring to a boil, cover and simmer 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat, let stand 5 minutes.
    Add marshmallows, pineapple, banana and lemon juice. Cool, fold in Cool Whip.
    Serves 8 to 10.
