Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped white onion
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 lb. American cheese
12 hard-boiled eggs
4 Tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
1 can Cheddar cheese soup
2 1/2 c. crushed potato chips
1 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled
Preparation

Cheese Sauce:
Saute onion in butter.
Blend in flour.
Add milk, stirring continually until thick.
Add cheese to above mixture.
After cheese has melted, add canned soup and heat well, allowing to simmer.
