Perfectly Rich Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 eggs, beaten
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 qt. scalded milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 (9-inch) deep dish pie crust
Preparation
    Scald milk and butter.
    Let cool.
    Add to egg mixture, composed of eggs, sugar, nutmeg and vanilla.
    Pour mixture into pie crust.
    Place in 450\u00b0 preheated oven.
    Bake 20 minutes only. Turn heat completely off.
    Let pie stand in oven for 1 hour.
