Hamburger Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    2 medium carrots, sliced
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    1/2 c. pearl barley
    1/4 c. catsup
    1 Tbsp. instant bouillon granules
    2 tsp. seasoned salt
    1 bay leaf
    1 tsp. basil, crushed
Preparation
    In large saucepan, cook beef until browned and drain off fat. Stir in remaining ingredients and 5 cups water.
    Bring to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour.
    Season to taste with salt and pepper and remove bay leaf.
