Franklin Nut Cake Recipe - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 sticks butter
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    4 c. plain flour, sifted twice
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 lb. cherries (crystallized), cut up
    1/2 lb. pineapple (crystallized), cut up
    1 lb. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar, adding a little flour and one egg at a time.
    Add rest of ingredients.
    Bake in a tube pan (use brown paper in bottom).
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours.
