Easy As 1-2-3 Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

1 large can (13 oz.) sliced peaches in heavy syrup
1 box butter flavor or yellow cake mix
1/2 stick butter or margarine
Preparation

Drain syrup from peaches into a bowl and set aside.
In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, place sliced peaches to cover bottom.
Sprinkle entire box of cake mix over peaches.
Pour peach syrup over cake mix.
Cut half stick of butter or margarine into small \"pats\" and place on top of cake mix.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes (or until golden brown).
