Poppy Seed Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. cooking oil
3 eggs
2 Tbsp. poppy seed
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
1 to 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
grated lemon rind
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together and mix.
Pour batter into 2 greased 8 x 4-inch baking tins.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Do the toothpick test to see when center is done.
Cool for 10 minutes and then remove from pans.
