Sumi Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oil
    6 Tbsp. rice vinegar
    1/4 c. sesame seeds, toasted
    1 firm head cabbage, sliced thin
    1/2 tsp. sugar (on chopped cabbage)
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. sliced almonds, toasted
    2 pkg. Ramen noodles, crushed
    8 green chopped onions
    1/2 tsp. salt (on chopped cabbage)
Preparation
    Mix vinegar, sugar and stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
    Add oil and Ramen flavor mix; stir until well blended. Don't add noodles, nuts and dressing until ready to serve.
    You can substitute 1/2 balsamic vinegar and 1/2 wine vinegar for rice vinegar.
    Cooked chopped chicken may be added.
