Eggplant Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large eggplant
    1 lb. hamburg
    1 c. bread crumbs
    1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. Cheddar or Mozzarella cheese, shredded
    1 c. tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce
Preparation
    Wash and peel eggplant; slice lengthwise in 1/4-inch slices. Soak for 10 minutes in salted water.
    Pat dry with a paper towel. In a large skillet, greased or sprayed with Pam, braise slices until tender.
    Drain on towels.
