Ingredients

1 stick butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
3 medium eggs
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
whipped cream or Cool Whip
Preparation

Mix butter, sugar, cocoa and vanilla; beat for 5 minutes scraping from sides frequently.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating 5 minutes after each addition.
Pour into pie shell and chill. Cover with whipped cream or Cool Whip and garnish with shaved chocolate.
