Hobo Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    4 to 5 medium potatoes, sliced
    2 to 3 carrots, sliced
    1 medium onion
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix ground chuck with salt and pepper.
    Press into an 8 x 10-inch pan in the bottom.
    Cover with sliced potatoes, carrots and sliced onion.
    Salt and pepper lightly.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for one hour.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
