Delicious Nourishing Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    4 potatoes
    3 carrots
    1 can cooked mushrooms
    1 tsp. salt
    2 oz. chili powder
    2 c. tomato juice
    2 cans stewed tomatoes
    2 cubes beef bouillon
Preparation
    Brown ground beef in large pot.
    Drain off fat.
    In saucepan, boil potatoes and carrots until soft.
    Mash potatoes and carrots together; set aside to use as thickening.
    Add chopped onion, salt, chili powder, mushrooms, tomato juice, stewed tomatoes and bouillon cubes.
    Add mashed potatoes and carrots.
    Stir and let simmer 1 hour on low heat, stirring now and then.
