Peaches 'N Cream Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick (1/4 c.) butter, melted
    2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    4 c. peeled, sliced peaches
    sugar
    pinch of salt
    2 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. water
    1/2 (3 oz.) pkg. peach gelatin
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. milk
    1 (9 oz.) carton whipped topping
Preparation
    Make a crust out of the butter and graham cracker crumbs, reserving 1/2 cup for top.
    Press mixture into the bottom of a 9 x 9 x 3-inch pan.
    Stir a scant 1/2 cup sugar into peaches; set aside.
