Beef Chunks In Sour Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. lean stew beef, cut into 1-inch cubes
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    2 medium-size onions, sliced thinly
    1 c. mushrooms, sliced
    1/2 c. beef broth
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    hot buttered noodles
Preparation
    Roll beef cubes in flour; brown in shortening.
    Add onions and brown.
    Add mushrooms, water and spices.
    Cover and simmer over low heat about 1 3/4 hours or until meat is tender.
    Stir occasionally during cooking.
    Stir in sour cream and heat through. Serve over noodles.
    Serves 6 to 8.
