Black Bottom Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1 c. flour
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
3 Tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. and 2 Tbsp. boiling water
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Sift together the first 5 ingredients and blend.
Then add the next 3 ingredients.
Pour into skillet or pan and set aside.
Mix together the remaining 4 ingredients. Pour this mixture on top of first mixture.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for approximately 20 minutes.
Cool before serving.
When you spoon this cake into serving dishes, remember the bottom of the cake becomes the sauce topping.
Add whipped cream if desired.
