Wild Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. pork sausage
    1 large onion, chopped
    green pepper, chopped (optional)
    2 pkg. chicken noodle soup mix (dry)
    4 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. wild rice
    1/2 c. blanched slivered almonds
    1 c. mushrooms
Preparation
    Brown pork sausage, onion and green pepper and drain off fat. Add soup mix, water and wild rice and mix well in ovenproof bowl. Add almonds and mushrooms.
    Bake covered 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
