Cabbage-Beef Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cabbage
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. canned tomatoes
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    2 medium onions, chopped fine
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    2 Tbsp. chopped mint
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Wash the cabbage; cut the stem end and core.
    Put in a large kettle; cover with boiling salted water and cook until the leaves are loose enough to separate with a fork, about 20 minutes (more or less, depending upon size).
    Remove the cabbage; drain and separate the leaves.
    Or use one 15 1/2-ounce jar grape leaves.
