Fluffy Turnips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium turnips
    2 eggs (separated)
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of cayenne pepper
    1/8 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. grated lemon rind
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Cook cubed turnips in
    water
    to
    cover
    until\ttender; drain and mash.
    Beat egg yolks
    and
    combine with the rest of the ingredients except egg
    whites
    and
    sugar.
    Beat
    whites until soft peaks form;
    gently fold into turnip mixture.\tPour into buttered casserole dish
    and
    sprinkle
    with brown sugar. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Serves 6.
