Ingredients

1/2 c. cooking oil
1 c. applesauce
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
3 large apples, peeled and cut into small pieces
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Combine cooking oil, applesauce, sugar and eggs and beat 3 minutes at medium speed.
Add to this mixture the flour, salt, baking soda and vanilla.
Beat until smooth.
Fold in apples (peeled and cut into small pieces) and pecans.
Bake in cake pan, greased and floured for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325\u00b0.
