Hot Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. cider
    2 lemons
    2 oranges
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. whole allspice
    2 sticks cinnamon
    1 1/2 qt. cold water
Preparation
    Squeeze the juice from the lemons and oranges; set aside.
    In a saucepan, add rinds, spices and water; bring to a boil and simmer for 1 hour.
    Strain cooked mixture.
    Add sugar, cider and juices.
    Heat and serve.
    Serves 16 to 20 cups.
