St. Paddy'S Float - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. lime juice
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    2 qt. ginger ale, chilled
    1 qt. lime sherbet
    thin slices of lime
Preparation
    Mix juice and syrup; add sherbet.
    Pour ginger ale over sherbet and let soften.
    Stir.
    Add lime slices.
