Bell Pepper Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 large bell peppers, chopped
1 cup Italian flavor bread crumbs
1-1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
1-1/2 tablespoons butter, melted
1-1/2 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Preparation

In medium mixing bowl, combine bell pepper, bread crumbs and 1/2 cup cheese.
In saucepan, over low heat, stir in flour and cook until bubbly.
Gradually add milk to flour and butter mixture. Stir constantly until mixture begins to thicken.
When thickened, stir in 1/2 cheese, salt and pepper.
Stir until cheese is melted. Add cheese sauce to bell pepper mixture.
Spoon into well-greased 1-quart baking dish.
Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes to one hour.
Serves 4. This recipe goes well with bake Turkey or Hen.
