Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean beef steak
    1/4 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 clove minced garlic
    4 c. cooked rice or cooked noodles
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1 c. beef broth
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    1/2 c. sour cream
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Cut meat into thin strips.
    Lightly salt and pepper.
    Dredge in flour.
    Heat oil in a large skillet.
    Brown meat.
    Add onion, garlic, broth, thyme and liquid from mushrooms.
    Cover and simmer about 45 minutes or until meat is tender.
    Slice mushrooms and add.
    Cook 10 minutes.
    Stir in sour cream.
    Turn heat off and allow sour cream to heat through.
    Do not boil.
    Serve over hot rice or noodles.
