Curried Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    1 c. light brown sugar
    2 tsp. curry powder
    1 (No. 2) can peach slices (about 20 oz.)
    1 (No. 2) can pear halves (about 20 oz.)
    1 (No. 2) can pineapple slices (about 20 oz.)
    1 (No. 2) can apricot halves (about 20 oz.)
    1 (15 oz.) jar spiced apple rings
    maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Combine butter or margarine, sugar and curry powder.
    Bring to boil.
    Drain fruit.
    Arrange in 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish and pour hot sauce over the fruit.
    Garnish with cherries.
