Cinnamon Surprise Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter or shortening
    6 eggs
    3 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 Tbsp. brown sugar
    3 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until smooth.
    Add 1 egg at a time until mixed well.
    Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
    Add flour mixture alternately with milk.
    Beat well.
    Add vanilla. Pour half of batter into well-greased and floured tube pan.
    Mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
    Spread this mixture evenly over batter in pan.
    Pour rest of batter in pan.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
