Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 lb. ground chuck
    1 can golden mushroom soup
    1 can water
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients; add beef and mix well.
    Shape into 10 patties.
    Brown well on both sides.
    Pour off grease.
    Add mushroom soup and 1 can of water.
    Cook slowly until steak is done.
