Malibu Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head shredded lettuce
    1/2 c. green or red onions, sliced
    1 pkg. frozen peas (uncooked)
    1 pt. mayonnaise
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
    6 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
    6 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
Preparation
    Add ingredients in layers.
    Put lettuce, onions, peas and mayonnaise, with sugar mixed in, into a 13 x 9-inch glass cake dish.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Next day, sprinkle cheese, eggs and bacon on top of salad.
    Garnish with tomatoes and/or grated cheese, if desired.
    Serve slightly chilled.
