Mock Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pie crusts
    2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    20 Ritz crackers
    butter
    cinnamon
Preparation
    Bring first 3 ingredients to boil.
    Add crackers; boil 2 minutes.
    Do not stir.
    Pour into pie crust; dot with butter. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon.
    Put on top crust.
    Punch holes in crust with fork.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
