Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients

12 to 18 medium cucumbers, sliced
1 medium onion, sliced
1/2 c. salt
4 c. sugar
4 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. celery seed

Preparation

Pack cucumbers and onion in jars.
Heat remaining ingredients to boil.
Pour over cucumbers and onions.
