Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/4 c. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix thoroughly first 4 ingredients.
    Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
    Shape by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls (1-inch).
    Roll balls in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set.
    Immediately remove from baking sheets.
    Makes 3 dozen cookies.
