Oatburgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. rolled oats
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 1/2 Tbsp. oil
    1/4 c. torula yeast powder
    3/4 c. cooked rice or bread crumbs
    1 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. sage
    1 large, chopped onion
    1/4 c. soy milk powder (optional)
Preparation
    Cover oats and soy sauce with boiling water; cool.
    Add all rest and mix well.
    Form into burgers and bake, browning both sides, in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Serve on buns or in gravy.
    Can be browned in skillet first, then put in a casserole in oven and baked with 2 cans mushroom soup, diluted with 1 to 1 1/2 cups milk.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes, until mushroom soup begins to bubble. Serves 4 to 6.
