Ruth'S Best Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. each: sliced carrots and celery
    4 potatoes, peeled and cubed
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    1 stick margarine
    1 can butter beans
    salt and pepper
    water to cover
Preparation
    Put everything in soup pot; bring to a boil.
    Simmer 3 or 4 hours.
    Just as good when leftover.
