Ingredients

2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (8 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained
1 (16 oz.) can sliced beets, drained
1 Tbsp. butter or oleo
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

In saucepan, combine brown sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Add pineapple and bring to boil.
Stir until thickened, about 2 minutes.
Add beets, butter and lemon juice.
Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Stir occasionally.
