Granny'S Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup scalded milk
    1/4 cup sugar
    6 tablespoons shortening
    1 package yeast
    2 tablespoons warm water
    1 egg
    4 cups flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Cool
    to lukewarm.
    Combine milk, sugar and shortening.
    Add diluted yeast, eggs and 1/2 flour.
    Mix well.
    Add remainder of flour slowly stirring to make a soft dough.
    Refrigerate covered overnight.
    Punch down.
    Make into rolls.
    Let rise for 1 hour.
    Bake at 375 degrees for 7 to 10 minutes until brown.
