Peanut-Crunch Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    5 1/2 c. thin sliced apples
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    3 Tbsp. cold crunchy peanut butter
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. crushed corn flakes
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine 1/4 teaspoon salt, 3/4 cup sugar, flour, vanilla and lemon juice. Toss with apples. Spoon into pie shell.
    Drizzle on butter.
    Blend chilled peanut butter, 1/4 cup sugar, corn flakes and 1/8 teaspoon salt with pastry blender. Sprinkle over apple layer. Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
