Cheese Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. creamed corn
    1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. bacon drippings
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Mix together all ingredients, except cheese.
    Pour half the mixture
    into an iron skillet.
    Cover with grated cheese. Add remaining
    batter
    over
    cheese
    and
    bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
