Old Fashioned Beef Stew(Crockery Cooking) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef
    1/2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 bay leaf
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
    1 large chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. marjoram
    1 cube bouillon
    1 c. hot water
    2 tsp. salt/sugar
    6 carrots, sliced thin
    1 c. celery, sliced thin
    4 potatoes, cut in eighths
    4 c. water
Preparation
    Coat beef with flour; set excess flour aside.
    In large skillet, brown meat on all sides in oil.
    In crock-pot put veggies on bottom, top with beef and remaining ingredients.
    Pour water over all.
    Cover and cook 8 to 10 hours.
    Turn control on high (remove meat).
    Use leftover flour mixed in 2 tablespoons water to thicken stew; stir in.
    Return meat to pot.
    Cover and cook for 15 minutes.
