Hamburg-Noodle Bake - cooking recipe

4 lb. ground beef
3 large onions, chopped
1 c. chopped green peppers
16 oz. noodles
3 (10 3/4 oz.) cans tomato soup
4 c. shredded American cheese
1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce
1/4 c. chopped pimiento
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
1/4 c. butter, melted
2 c. water
Preparation

In large skillet, cook beef, onions and green peppers; drain fat.
Cook noodles; drain well.
Return noodles to skillet.
Stir in meat, tomato soup, cheese, chili sauce, pimiento, salt, chili powder, pepper and water; mix well.
Divide mixture between 2 (13 x 9 x 2-inch) baking dishes.
Toss bread crumbs with melted butter.
Sprinkle atop casserole.
Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Makes 2 casseroles, 12 servings each.
