Overnight Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce
1/2 c. onion
1/2 c. celery
1/2 c. pepper (green)
1 c. frozen peas, thawed but not cooked
2 c. mayonnaise plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
4 oz. sharp cheese, grated
6 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
Preparation

Put first 5 ingredients in bowl in layers as listed.
Mix mayonnaise and sugar and pour on salad, covering good so you do not see things sticking up.
Sprinkle cheese on top and then bacon.
Cover with Saran Wrap; refrigerate overnight.
Mix just before serving.
