Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. orange juice
4 medium apples, peeled and sliced
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Combine 2/3 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
Sift together flour and baking powder.
Combine 2 cups sugar, oil and eggs. Beat well.
Then beat in orange juice and vanilla while alternately beating in flour mixture.
Combine well.
Pour 1/2 batter into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan (batter will be thick).
Top batter with 1/2 apples and 1/2 cinnamon-sugar combination.
Pour on remaining batter with remaining apples and cinnamon-sugar on top.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 90 minutes. Let cool before removing from pan.
