Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak (1 inch)
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. grease
    1/2 c. onions, chopped
    1/2 c. bell peppers, chopped
    1 c. canned tomatoes
    3 c. water
Preparation
    Preheat electric skillet at 350\u00b0.
    Coat meat with flour, salt and pepper.
    Cut into serving pieces.
    Brown steak well in fat. Mix vegetables and place over meat.
    Cover and simmer until tender, about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    Thicken remaining sauce for gravy.
