Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. plus 1/4 c. sugar
    1 pkg. dry active yeast
    1 c. warm milk
    1 egg, beaten (warm temperature)
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. flour
    vegetable oil
Preparation
    Stir 1 teaspoon sugar and yeast into 1/4 cup tepid water.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Put butter into warm milk and let melt.
    Mix milk, butter, remaining sugar, egg and salt in large bowl.
    Stir in yeast mixture and 3 1/2 cups flour.
    Let rest 5 minutes.
    Knead dough with as much remaining flour as needed.
    Return to bowl and let rise.
    Grease 12 cup muffin tins.
    Punch down.
    Pinch off pieces and roll into balls.
    Place 2 balls in each cup.
    Let rise. Bake 30 minutes.
