Bloat Buster - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. vegetable oil
    1 c. chopped onions
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    2 tsp. minced garlic
    2 c. cooked white beans (cooked without salt)
    1 c. finely diced butternut squash
    1 c. chopped carrots
    1 (13 3/4 or 14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
    1 c. water
    1 (2-inch) strip lemon peel
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    4 c. shredded cabbage
    1 c. (14 or 16 oz.) whole reduced-sodium tomatoes
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/2 c. julienned basil
    1 tsp. grated lemon peel
Preparation
    Heat oil in saucepan over medium heat.
    Add onions and celery; cover and cook, stirring until tender, 5 minutes.
    Stir in garlic; cook 30 seconds.
    Add beans, squash, carrots, chicken broth, water, lemon peel, pepper and thyme.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat and boil gently, uncovered, until vegetables are tender, 20 minutes.
