Quick Root Beer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 qt. warm water
    2 Tbsp. root beer extract
Preparation
    Dissolve sugar in water, then add the extract.
    Mix well and place in a gallon jug.
    Jug should only be 3/4 of the way full. Stand without lid for 6 hours in a warm place.
    Fill with water, put lid on and cool.
    Will be ready in about 2 or 3 days.
